The 70’s and 80’s in particular are bright back to life by stunning visuals and accompanying live performances of the company’s selected band Blues2Soul.
Feel the heat
In the 70’s greater economic opportunities led to an explosion of artistic expression. Migrants and their children created the Harlem Renaissance, changed the sound of the blues music that they brought north with them. In the UK the arrival of Caribbean immigrants on the Windrush and other boats changed the social profile of the UK’s major cities forever.
Period videos chart these migrations played to the live performance of Blues2Soul band.
